On our first day our bus was pulled over because of the tint on the windows. It turns out that the tint was original, so there was no ticket. This is also something that may happen in the US.
The difference between what I posted for the crime in The US, the speeding ticket, is that in Turkey there is much more speeding...and pedestrians feel like they will get run over. Cars will speed up when you try to walk
